Where am I?

Friday 10th September

Today Karen will be completing the final part of her trek.  Horomobo Hut to Marangu Park Gate where they will cross the finish line and complete the Kilimanjaro trek.  She didn't get much sleep again last night, but more than she has had any other night and was feeling a bit better today.  She was delighted to be offered a coke and a proper tap to wash their hands at the lunch stop.  In a few hours she will be back at the hotel and is very much looking forward to a shower and a glass of wine!  

This is what my latest text says....."The blonde is leaving the mountain, having been greeted at the bottom with a glass of champagne! What an experience! And this will come as a surprise...All in one piece!! My only visit to the doc was to treat the burn I got ironing my base layers the day I flew out"
